You’ve found it…paramotor is the least expensive form of aviation, there is no license required, and you can pack it in your car and fly away! This is your site for one-to-one training, flexible scheduling, and learning at your own pace. All learning equipment is provided and in as little as 4 to 8 classes you can be flying. But…I provide UNLIMITED basic training to get you to independent pilot status. And, you can come back anytime for more advanced training.
ABOUT ME
Hey, my name Is Danielo and It is no accident that the motto of my school is “Learn to fly, run into the sky!” I’m Brazilian born, raised in France, and now make my home in Los Angeles. Before I became a pilot, I traveled the world as a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher, exploring the cultures of over 50 countries! My first foray into extreme sporting was skydiving, in which I received my A license. My life mantra is to STAYBAD, meaning to Stay Beyond Any Definitions, to live life without limits, and to push oneself to greater heights. One of my main pursuits is flying and teaching others to fly. It is extremely gratifying share the freedom and beauty of being outdoors in this unique way—flying over sand dunes, the ocean, poppy fields—it’s like nothing else. I have been a pilot for 6 years and am a USPPA certified instructor as well as being certified in tandem flights. When paramotoring, I fly with the Qubik 21m in custom colors. For paragliding, I use the Hook 5 p, 24m, in golden. When I am not flying, dancing, or teaching, you can find me creating videos, combining my love of flying with original content sharing my adventures.
THE CLASSES
What sets STAYBAD PARAMOTOR apart? It’s STAYBAD’s one-to-one class format and individually tailored training program. In this private setting, you will learn to fly at your own pace and I will target my teaching methods to your specific needs, such as your level of fitness, optimal learning style, schedule, and personal goals. STAYBAD’s one-to-one instruction differs from the more usual “boot camp style”, a group setting in which you attempt to learn all of the required flying skills in about 8 days. For many students, this type of concentrated instruction feels overwhelming and they return home lacking confidence. STAYBAD trainings are scheduled to correspond to your free time (weekdays or weekends). At your own pace, you will get all the theory and practice you need to fly safely. Most beginning students are flying by their 4th lesson. You will complete the USPPA syllabus and will receive all your ratings: PPG1, PPG2, and PPG3. Your competence will be enhanced by training in varied locations and under diverse flying conditions. Most importantly, you can take classes as long as you need/want to, so when you are done training you will have EVERY skill necessary to be confident flying solo and flying anywhere. Our advanced training offers USPPA Instructor and Tandem Instructor ratings.
BASIC TRAINING
Our "basic" training is designed to take someone from zero to proficient with Paramotor flying.
ADVANCED TRAINING
Advanced training is for PPG pilots who already have a USPPA PPG3 rating or equivalent skills and want to become a USPPA foot launch instructor or USPPA tandem foot launch instructor.
REFRESHER
A refresher is the best and safest way to get back into the air after a long break due to winter, injuries or just to polish some skills.

PACKAGES
Our "basic" training is designed to take someone from zero to proficient with Paramotor flying. Our ONE on ONE training program will teach you all the basics you need to fly safely and confidently on your own, remember that you get unlimited classes. You are not done training until you feel comfortable to go fly on your own. The vast majority of students will leave our training program as confident novice pilots ready to fly on their own. We offer PPG1, PPG2, and PPG3 ratings during basic training. All students who solo during training will leave our program with a PPG1 rating and will continue to work on their requirements for PPG2 (usually achieved within a few weeks of finishing our course). As you continue to develop your skills on your own, we will work with you remotely and in-person until you achieve your PPG3 rating.
